Entering Engaged Era

It was so much fun getting to take some photographs of this wonderful couple to mark their engagement. The two want to elope to Vegas but still wanted some photos to show their love for their English village home. So we took to their local high-street of small businesses, to capture their life together.

We chatted beforehand to figure out what elements of the shoot were important to the couple, and it was clear that they wanted a 'quiet autumn walk through a small village' vibe showing their love for their home town. We looked at photographs and styles that they liked the look of, discussed how to be comfortable in the poses they were showing me and on the day they even forgot to pose once they were in their home territory just enjoying their little life together. I captured some really wholesome truths as they just relished in a moment together that centred around their love and commitment for one another. Little glances, quiet giggles and some playful banter made the shoot take care of itself.

It was so lovely to get to hear their story, to listen to all their wedding plans and see how much they adored each other. And even though, they were camera shy people, which I would say most people are, they absolutely loved receiving their photograph gallery a couple days later.
